Mathematics Tasks for the Thinking Classroom, Grades 6-1 is finally here!

This book is so much more than simply a collection of good thinking tasks. It delves deeper into the implementation of the 14 practices from the BTC framework by updating the practices with the newest research, and focusing on the practice through the lens of rich math tasks that address specific mathematical learning outcomes or standards.

The ATMNE Conference "Mathematics Without Limits" was held on October 30-31, with over 450 participants and nearly 50 vendor representatives. It was a great success. The conference hosted 101 sessions and close to 95 unique speakers. Thursday night included a STEM Night as well as a showing of the movie "Counted Out". Thank you to all for the support generated. Our KeyNotes were passionate, and Featured speakers were engaging. The opportunities for all speaker sessions allowed teacher leaders to bring ideas back to their classrooms. What energy and excitement! Nearly 100 people walked away with many gift cards, vendor donations, and business donations as door prizes. Next year, the ATMNE Conference will be held in Rhode Island.
